Our Brake Caliper Painting Process
STEP 1 – STRIP
- Brake calipers removed from the car and drained
- Shot blasted back to bare metal.
- Cleaned and masked prior to paint. (Spring clips and pads retaining pins are cleaned and painted as necessary).
STEP 2 – PAINT
- Paint applied – primer, base (colour) and clear coat.
- Only top quality paints are used and in any colour of your choice)
- Any logos are painted on using a stencil before the clear coat for maximum durability.
STEP 3 – REFIT
- New bleed valves fitted
- Calipers refitted back onto the vehicle
- The hydraulic system is then pressure bled, wheels torqued and brakes tested.
